Sharing Photos at the Textile

I began bird watching 20 years ago after moving to Texas.  Before long, the slow pace of observing birds and their behavior led to an interest in nature overall.  Soon I was looking at flowers, insects, butterflies, and all manner of flora and fauna.  Initially I took photos with a manual camera body and used my birding scope as the lens.  The limitations eventually drove me to purchase a 35 mm SLR with multiple lenses and finally a digital SLR.  The more photos I took the more interested I became in composition, lighting, photographing different subjects, and sharing what I saw with others. 

Bird watching and photography have taken my wife and me to six continents and over fifty countries.  Traveling around the world has helped me see and appreciate the diversity and joys of my home in Grapevine, Texas.  The photographs and greeting cards on display are from Grapevine, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, and several other places.

All images are printed on matte archival paper with archival inks.  The mats are acid-free.  Under normal lighting conditions these images will retain their strong colors.
